Turmeric Smoothie

Try my turmeric  smoothie recipe which tastes great, you won't even believe that it contains turmeric! I combined banana, lemon and Clementine with my turmeric paste.

If you are aware of colour therapy then I also chose these fruits as their orange and yellow colours will be a similar frequency band to the yellow turmeric.  This combination will benefit the solar plexus chakar (yellow) and the sacral chakra (orange).

A tasty, energising and fresh combination with anti-inflammatory and anti-oxidant benefits.

Ingredients

1 banana
1 Clementine
Fresh lemon to taste
1/4 tsp turmeric paste
1/4 tsp clarified butter (ghee)

Method

  1. Place banana and Clementine in a blender and blend until smooth

  2. Mix 1/4 teaspoon of my turmeric paste with some hot water.

  3. Stir in 1/4 teaspoon of clarified butter into the warm turmeric water.
  4. Add the turmeric water to the blended banana/Clementine.

Squeeze in some fresh lemon and blend.... It's so easy and tasty too.
