Supporting Health and Wellbeing with Holistic Nutrition

What you eat and drink plays a significant role in influencing your state of health. This course runs once a week for 5 weeks and aims to provide both a practical and informative approach for anybody wanting to use Nutritional Therapy as a means of supporting their health and wellbeing. 

The impact of dietary stress, which is a crucial and often under looked form of stress within the body, is explored along with the contributory factors and types of foods, which promote this form of stress.  Strategies for using nutritious, easy-to-digest foods, which help reduce dietary stress and demonstrations of key recipes will also be provided.

On this course, relevant up-to-date nutritional research and holistic Nutritional therapy are integrated to help you make more dietary positive choices.

Menu Planning and Cooking Tuition

Menu planning and cooking tuition aims to help with both planning and preparing nutritious foods, which are in line with your specific dietary guidelines.

Each session is tailored to your needs and provides practical cooking support with preparing suggested meals. The aim is to help you integrate any dietary suggestions like gluten and dairy free in a structured way.

Naturally Connecting to Health and Wellbeing

This course aims to connect you to a deeper understanding of health and wellbeing. You will discover the underlying reasons behind many health imbalances and will be given tools to assist you towards an improved state of wellbeing.

On this course you will find out about the benefits of natural whole foods and preparation techniques which are appropriate for this time of the year. You will also be given ideas and recipes for preparing nutritious foods for breakfast, lunch, main meals, desserts, drinks and snacks.

This course runs for one 2 hour session per week over a period of 10 weeks

Preparing and Cooking Natural Whole Foods

If you are interested in using natural whole foods to promote health and wellbeing then this course is for you. In each workshop, you will learn about the benefits of using fresh whole foods and how to prepare them using easy to follow recipes. You will also find out about how to prepare meals which are appropriate for this time of year.  

This workshop runs for one 2 hour session per week over a period of 5 weeks

Preparing Meals to Support Health

From the Hub Café, I will show you how to plan and prepare nutritious meals tailored to your specific health, which are free from problematic foods like processed sugar/salt, damaged fats/oils, gluten, dairy and so on.  Alternatively, if you are just looking for some meal ideas or would like help with incorporating health foods like coconut oil, quinoa and turmeric into your diet then I can support you with this as well.

Foods to Support Detoxification

In this workshop at the Hub Café, I will show you how to prepare foods and drinks, which aid detoxification naturally and safely. You will also learn how to maintain blood sugar and support digestion and elimination, which are all keys to successful detoxification. So if your New Year intentions to improve diet and fitness have gone awry then this is the workshop for you.

Making Gluten-Free Breakfast 

Cutting out gluten is one of the first steps to healing an inflamed gut. If you are finding this hard or just need some ideas then these workshops are for you. From the Hub Café, I will show you how easy it is to make healthy gluten free breakfasts like: buckwheat pancakes, breakfast puddings and energy bars.

Plus you get to sample all of the food and take home recipes.
